Inspiration from Asmaul Husna by Mufti Menk
I was remembered about the motivational speech by Mufti Menk that I watched about few months ago on Youtube. It was so inspiring for me. Yeah, so I can remember this advise clearly.
Human beings need different kinds of help. When you’re sick, you need someone to cure you. When you’re tired, you need someone to help you. When you’re confused, you need someone to clarify you. When you don’t know, you need someone to educate you. When you’re lost, you need someone to guide you.
It’s not kind of help if you’re hungry, you don’t need to be educated right now, you need to be fed.
So when you ask Allah for help then at a different occasion you need a different kind of help and of course everyone of Allah’s names provides a different kind of help.
See? OMG! It’s hits me so hard. I wonder why I’m so late to understand with beautiful message. I’ve known for a long time but, I only understand now. And then, I looking the verse from the Quran about Asmaul Husna.
وَلِلّٰهِ الْاَسْمَاۤءُ الْحُسْنٰى فَادْعُوْهُ بِهَاۖ وَذَرُوا الَّذِيْنَ يُلْحِدُوْنَ فِيْٓ اَسْمَاۤىِٕهٖۗ سَيُجْزَوْنَ مَا كَانُوْا يَعْمَلُوْنَ
Artinya: Allah mempunyai asmaul husna, maka bermohonlah kepada-Nya dengan menyebut asmaul husna itu dan tinggalkanlah orang-orang yang menyimpang dari kebenaran dalam (menyebut) nama-nama-Nya. Nanti mereka akan mendapat balasan terhadap apa yang telah mereka kerjakan”. (QS. Al A’raf: 180).
I’m feeling loss and regret, but at the same time, I was so grateful.
Thankyou brother, Mufti Menk. Maybe it’s just a dream that someday I can meet you. Hihii.
Last but not least, this is Asmaul Husna that I used to memorize when I was in junior high school. Love it !
